Multiple Venues in Various Cities

Short & Sweet follows these simple rules: Invited choreographers are given carte blanche to present whatever they want. as long as it is under three minutes! A timekeeper is present and any artist going over the allotted time frame is immediately cut off.

Over the years, Short&Sweet has become a platform for experimentation - creating connections between diverse artists, all in a relaxed cabaret / bar setting. Montreal audiences have embraced the format of Short&Sweet making it one of the most popular dance events in the city, appreciating the way the event offers an entertaining and un-intimidating way for the public to sample a variety of dance ideas.
